Whats on the menu tonight? netty_girl: Hi all. I think we need a place to check out what eachother are making! I am getting so sick of food out of a can! Any suggestions on simple to make dinners that a 4 year old might eat?

Spaghetti. Buy a jar and brown your own meat and add to it. Makes it better than just store bought.
Take a box of rice (Rice-A-Roni, etc.) and add a can of chicken or ham to it. Open some veggies and have at it.
Same with the packaged noodles, add some meat to it, open some veggies.
Ummmm....lemme think of some more............LOL

homemade take a bit longer,however..so much richer and yummy! i love it when the cheese gets crispy in the oven ;D its the best!!!!
Re:Whats on the menu tonight? amola: i did this the other night and it was easy and the kids gobbled it up.......
box of au gratin potatoes.....mix 'em up for the oven recipe and put 'em in a casserole dish. tossed in some leftover frozen turkey and some frozen broccoli and tossed the whole mess in the oven for however long the box said to do it.
one dish......yummy........easy to clean up after......
i mix alot of stuff in with boxed potatoes......some kind of meat, frozen veggies, whatever i have. makes a good casserole.
