Re:grrrrrrrrr............ CPmommy: I agree with everyone else - do it anyway. He's just pushing your buttons because he knows it's something you want and he doesn't want to give it to you. Believe me, mine does this ALL THE TIME.

And dj is right, if they decide to change faiths when they are older, they can be re-baptized in the faith that they wish.

Keep your head up, babe!!

Re:grrrrrrrrr............ amola: i'm still waiting to hear back from my parents about this--i emailed them last night about it to get their opinions, but if the email doesn't directly involve geneology, they generally don't respond. i wouldn't even be that worried about the whole baptism thing, but my parents really really really want it to be done and they have some kind of container (bowl?) that was used to hold the water that my sister and i were baptized with, and they are planning to bring it out here to use for my kids' baptism. my parents are 78 & 76 (i think) and they're not going to be able to make this trek out here many more times, so i'd like to at least do this to help me get back in their good graces (lol).

men. can't shoot 'em. need to change that law one of these days.

I have been gone a while and I come back and read your post....I am so sorry that you are still dealing with him! Geezzz, you think he would give up now but I guess not, buthead's usually dont.

Do what you think is right in your heart... You are such a strong person and I know you will make the right decision, dont let him get you down that is what he wants. Good for you in seeing someone its about time you do something for youself!

Take care,
