goat-don't read-just needed to get it out Shanna: My mom came home last night from her trip to TX. This morning I called and Mom let me know that during the night they had discovered one of her goats had had her babies (three of them to one mommy). I took the boys over around 10am so we could see the babies and take some cute pictures of my boys with them.
I get on the big rubber boots so I can go in the goat pen. I go in then walk into the little building the babies were in and there they were all of them look DEAD. It was such a horrible sight. Made me so sick. Two of them were still breathing and one made a little noise....I grabbed all three. I took them out and screamed for mom to help me.
We worked on the two for 3 hours straight they seemed a little better....not so dead looking. I had to leave for a while...and when I came back they were still alive.
I sat back down with one and was trying to get it to take a bottle and it started convulsing and died in my arms. :'( The other one went not to far behind that one.
I spent my entire day trying to save these little pymgy/boer goats and NOTHING. It was so freaking sad and depressing to see their little eyes go blank. They were so beautiful.
That stupid mother goat needs to be fixed if she won't take care of her babies. >:(

True though. If the mom will not take care of them, she needs to be fixed. I have seen dogs that do the same thing. I actually took one of her puppies that was like 6 days old just to save it.
At least you made them feel better while you were there!
