Re:Having Doubts snowyheart: I would say that 30s is too young to call it a midlife crisis. It's common for spouses to hit crisis' at the same time, I believe it's called empty nest syndome.
I think acting on a personal crisis by divorcing, is the trend. A crisis is a strong word though, most times it's just periods of difficulty.
