Why does she keeps calling? sacoderisa: Why is it that I tell her.....yesterday, that I still love her (i know i shouldn't), and that I miss her (I KNOW I SHOULDN'T) and please give me my time and my space. Today she calls, not once, not twice, 5 times, to tell me if i want to go to the mall with her and my daughter....she always uses my daughter as the excuse. The real reason, she wanted to go home, and have me take the baby to her mom's house. I don't even like going there, her old folks are liars just as she is, they told me they would support me in my pain, the only thing they've done is cover for whatever stupid things her daughter does. She is living alone now, not even taking care of my daughter, supposedly until she finds a daycare, which she isn't even looking for. I want to battle for custody, but gotta love america that unless the mother is a vegetable, she gets to keep the baby, and I will lose tons of money, and I am already broke as it is. I love her with all my heart, but just the same way i hate her.

If I were you I would tell her to stop calling you. Say to her that you want to see your daughter regularly and maybe set out certain days of the week where you can visit.
It is not wrong to still love her and miss her, of course you are going to.
I know what you mean about the mother/father in laws.
Mine told me that we were friends and that I could trust her but ended up with everything I said being exagerated and fed back to my husband. I think that betrayal hurt more than my husband leaving.
I have been told that there is a very thin line between love and hate. You are angry and rightly so, so don't worry about the hating her part, it is all totally normal.
That will die down as will the love part to and you will be able to get on with your life. Just takes time.

Today she fights with her mom and tells me to bring stuff ( diapers, milk, etc.) for the baby because she got into a fight with her mom. So I do, because like I said, I always do anything for my daughter. But then when I get there, she tells me that she hasn't eaten yet or my daughter. So guess who has to provide??? even tho she is not part of my life anymore!!!!!!
This is what I mean, I don't have to help you no more, you are just a mean b**ch and don't deserve me helping you after you choosing your friends over me. You say you don't need me, but then when i tell you not to call me, you do when you are really screwed, and I always get you out. Why? well, love makes us dumb. I should just let you rot in your nice and cozy piece of crap that you call apartment, and take my daughter away from you. If only goverment wasn't so freaking awful when it comes to custody!!!
