Re:When did you start to meet 'new people'? cosmochick222: TWG~ that's a good point! i kinda set middle of next year because that would have given me a year and a half to "collect and select". but of course if HE comes sweeping me off the ground tomorrow, there's a lot for him to process about me: that for now, i want things MY way and it's unfair to him. i love that i can go out freely now without having to report to anybody.
i've also started taking swing classes, joined a dining club that does gourmet food critique in the L.A. and O.C. restos and am contemplating on joining a photography club. there's a lot on my plate (literally and figuratively) and it would be unfair to the guy i'll date if i don't have him as a priority.
if and when i give these all up, he would know HE's it!
Re:When did you start to meet 'new people'? DHS Hottie: I think that it was about 2 or 3 months after the seperation that I started getting the feeling of "wanting to meet" someone. Although I waited until after the divorce was completely FINAL to actually date. I mean, I would go with a group of friends, or just my buddies places and do things... But I am the type of person that will not date or start something until that divorce was final...
I also agree with TWG....I was never really out looking for that special someone...when it happened it happened..
Re:When did you start to meet 'new people'? cosmochick222: let me put a disclaimer first: when i said mid next year, that's when i hope to have "selected" a serious relationship with somebody, not just casual dating, hanging out.
Re:When did you start to meet 'new people'? netty_girl: ok, that is understandable :)
