Re:couple friends/single friends? summerparis: My ex manages to alienate himself from any friends he would make. All of his relationships seem to end in convoluted psycho-dramas. He admitted as much to me several days ago.
Most of my friends are married with children. Now that I'm a playa again, I'd like to make friends with some other single people so that I have more friends to go out with. I'm grateful, though, for my married friends, because they provide me with models for healthier relationships and working together as a team...it's a reminder that it can be possible, even if the ex and I weren't able to do that.
Re:couple friends/single friends? jillieb44: LOL, Holly, my stbx is in love with his computer code! He's a programmer by day (work) and was always programming at night (to the exclusion of family interaction except screaming at us if we so much as disturbed his peace. Sheesh! Get a life! ::) )
