Why don't kids listen!!!??? Smiley17: Ok, so yesterday I was dropping off my bassinet for my sister's new baby and everyone was at her place because she had just gotten home from the hospital that day... well... the kids and I were leaving and I had just gotten my 3 year old buckled up in the car when my 6 year old screams about how he left his lunchbox at "Miss Cheryl's" - supposed to be Auntie Cheryl, but she works at his day-care, so she's Miss Cheryl. Confuses the crap out of my 3 year old!!
Anyway, he goes to run back up to her apartment when I tell him no. He begins to run, I yell, "Get back here!" he runs a little quicker and a little farther and I yell again, "Get back HERE!", the little rugrat keeps running! Finally I stand straight up and scream at the top of my lungs, in the middle of the parking lot, "I - SAID - GET - BACK - HERE!!!!!!" The boy stopped dead in his tracks and everyone in the parking lot, and surrounding area, just stopped and stared at me like I had ten heads....
Why does it take three times and me turning into the woman from the Exorcist to get him to listen? Why!!??
What the freak? I'm getting grey hair and crow's feet!! What more do they want!?
