Re:This Turns Out to Be a Promise soTiredOfHurting: Stirring words, Poetry, they are beautiful even laced with such sadness. You will love again, and I do not believe that God has anything against us. I think that He is using these times that we are gong through to get us ready for better things. Your words, they stir something in me, thank you for sharing them.

Be patient with yourself...you are healing and you are bound to hit your ups and downs. Just know that this is normal and just like that poem the TWG just posted about being 100% people....you are somewhere in between "the not moving to fast into dating" and the "not trying to shut yourself off from people either" part. I don't remember his exact words but you know what I mean.

Sometimes there is beauty in peace and quiet too! Enjoy those moments now and know that that is all they are right now....Moments! Things will change in time and you are right where you are suppose to be right now and all you can do is try to be the best person you can be and don't blame yourself if this new person is taking a step back. It might not have anything to do with you. Take this time for you and try to enjoy it! :)

Wasn't that poem by TWG good! I don't know about you but I found myself relating to it in every way.

Like I said...you are right where you are supposed to be right now. Take advantage of this time to heal and really truly get to know yourself. Have Fun!!!

Never blame yourself. Just give him time and if it's meant to be he will start walking towards you but let him start moving first.

Just be patient and enjoy everything there is to enjoy!

Re:This Turns Out to Be a Promise kimura321: when I went home on vacation, one of my friends talked me into going to a church service with her. I believe in god, but have never been into religion that much.
Well, my point is, the pastor said something that made sense to me. He was talking abiut the path that god had for us, and how to set upon that path. He then explained how people, when everything is going perfect in their lives, don't follow this path because they want to do it at their terms, their convinience. It is when we are humbled, broke down to almost nothing, that we let go and ask God what are path really is.
I'm not trying to sell bibles here, but he made a good point, we get so caught up in ourselves that we sometimes lose touch.
Maybe this is just the time when you are at the bottom, that you will begin that journey that will take you all the way to the top.
Sorry if this sounds too preachy or if I didn't explain it well, and I know that it is scant comfort, but maybe this is a chance to get it all figured out.
