Question for anyone who was left for someone else brokehearted: I am just doing a little survey. I am wondering about breakups where the one partner breaks up with the other partner because they have met someone new. I am wondering did these second relationships work? Did your ex ever want to get back with? How long until they called you again? I am just wondering any input people have would be good.

Re:Question for anyone who was left for someone else rcmorrison: My first husband left me, while I was battling Colon Cancer, for a woman with 2 kids by 2 different men. This woman lived in Augusta, GA and my then-husband being a soldier was constantly visiting her whenever he went to GA for a "Training Mission". Many of those "Training Missions" were actually vacations taken during my treatments for my cancer.
Before the divorce was finalized, this woman called me to tell me that she was pregnant with his child and wanted to know if that was the reason for the divorce...I told her, NO but it is now and I have not spoken with him nor her since.
I found out shortly after my second marriage last year, that my first husband married this woman on the same day we were married and moved her to Texas with her tribe of children.

But then I think it's just karma because she left him for another guy! haha...But I dont think we will get back anyway. Besides, look at it this way, he has your number so he will call if he wants to. All you have to do then is ignore it and get on with your life. Much easier said than done, but you have to keep moving on!

I know there must be memories, good one, bad ones, a sense of belonging with your ex. It is very hard most of the times. But look a who you are, the kind person who has alot going for...
Why would you want your ex back after such disrespect on your ex's part. No matter how hard it hurts...I think if they do it once, they will do it again. Of course there is always the exception to the rule, but that is like one in a billion.
