I'm going to amsterdam end of May and I can't wait to leave!!! I"m travelling with my bestfriend and we want to know the hot spots we should hit. WE'll be there for 5 days then we're off to ibiza to take a look-see at the party circuit over there. Our last stop would be gay Paris!
This is my divorce gift to myself and I plan to just kick back and enjoy the sun after the (pouring) rain :D

Re:Have you been to Amsterdam? cosmochick222: We'll make sure we;ll be in Paris on a saturday morning up to Wednesday morning.
The plan is to not have a plan, you know? but i figured it would be great to hear from people who have been there already so we won't waste our time on touristy stuff. in the mornings, we'd like to visit museums to add to our culture quotient, probably shop in flea markets/ swap meets in the afternoon (look for antique brooches, etc) and wine and dine and people-watch in the evening then party/hit the club scene after dinner. note to self: take pictures of tulips, windmills and a million bikes parked on the curbside (i'm a frustrated still life photographer).
In ibiza we're meeting friends and drink our brains out.
so tell me, what are the must-do's and must-see's?
Re:Have you been to Amsterdam? in_search_of: Well, I would definitely recommend hitting the Anne Frank Museum, if you are into that kind of stuff. Other than that, I would recommend just walking around and checking out the town during the day. Other than that I would saw probably the rembrandt and van gogh museums. And the Heinekin brewery is an interesting tour.
