Re:Insomnia OldSchool: Well, besides Bo's remedy playing with Mr. Winkie, I'd have to concur that taking long naps will not help getting you to sleep at night. I just took a 1/2 hr nap after work and it was just enough cause I'm still exhausted.
I've had some issues with sleeping, but it's getting better cause I'll give myself a schedule of things that have to get done n the morning. This helps me discipline myself to get to sleep cause some system helps the tame the brain a little. Now tomorrow morning I'm getting up at 5am to get into work by 6 to work out with a friend. This is sort of out of my norm, but I used to be on this schedule a couple years ago and I did get close to 6-7 hours of sleep everytime I worked out in the morning.

Re:Insomnia Bocephus: You know what else I have noticed aside from the long naps, is try not going to the gym for at least 3 hours before bedtime. When I go work out late, I get all amped up and it keeps me awake.
I screwed up and took a nap today at lunch in my office. Now I know I'll be up late too.. darnit..
