Re:YES - Canada wins and advances!! Bubba: Actually the USA usually does have a very good team when it comes to hockey. Top world teams for Hockey:
Canada, Russia, USA, Sweden, Finland, and I am sure I missing someone......but those 5 usually put out some good teams. Canada does however, win more times the lose, although they did go through a stretch of silver and bronze places.
It was funny at Christmas during the world Junior Championship. In hockey, the biggest rivels are USA and Canada. Two good teams. Always end up playing against each, both from North America, etc. So they always play good games against each other. At Christmas the US lost to the Russians. The thing is the Russian played REALLY DIRTY. I mean they were nasty. The Russians having won then went on to play the Canuks for Gold. The US team on the way out told the Canadian players to beat the Russians or well more like "kill them for us" type thing. Which was pretty cool since the US never cheers on Canada or vice versa when it comes to hockey.
On the brightside - Canada did beat the Russians at Christmas, and the Russians did play dirty!
