Re:Mr. Speedy pauly: I agree with Bubba, check out normal places.
Gym,pub definately.
Where in Europe is Medusa, does not sound like any particular traits of a brit.
Re:Mr. Speedy Druid13: What is the differnce between a Pub and a Bar?

Seriously.

Around here there are dive bars ( like of the places I've played at times)...and you are right guys there are too busy having attitude...getting hammered....and often times trying to start s*t with people.

The nicer places usually have better food but still are hangin out to catch a buzz and socialize ( the Bar Louie/Hard Rock scenerio)...

unless you mean the Vet owned and operated "card carrying " members only places...which are a slight step above a bar in my mind. Played there too.

Hell I spend alot of time in music stores and bookstores...I am "normal"....I think.

But hey...balance and moderation in all things.

That being said this guy sounds a little to anxious in my book.

Oh- and the tilte here reminds me of the first band I liked as a kid..."Mr.Speed....by the now infamous KISS"...LOL.

because that's exactly what i was thinking as i was reading it! glad to hear that there hasn't been any more contact, and also that he doesn't know where you live. i wouldn't be a bit surprised if you eventually find out that he has a history like this *shudder*

good luck! one of these days, i'm sure that you'll find mr. not-so-speedy and things will work out much better!
