New Priorities - ME! scraft: Honestly, I never thought much about how my divorce has affected me until I started reading these posts, and now I have too much stuff to say, and no one to say it too. Anyway, after my divorce was final I promised myself that I would do everything I was able to do before. And, I finally came to the conclusion that my first priorty should be me. In the last 2 years I've discovered more things about me than I thought possible. I'm "in touch" with myself, and it is a wonderful feeling to know exactly who I am..Maybe that's why dating is so horrible...I refuse to settle for the norm. My first goal is to go back to school, and get my dream career up and running. This is something that I've wanted to be since I was a teenager. When I was a little girl I wanted to be a Vet when I grew up. Then somewhere between being a teenager and an adult my dream changed slightly. I want to do what I find facinating, captivating, rewarding, and helpful. Most people think that I'm joking, or just plain morbid, but eh, who cares it's my life. I so want to go to college, so that I can live my dream as a coroner.
Re:New Priorities - ME! i_sing_alone: I don't think that's weird at all. Someone has to do it! I think it would be really interesting, personally, since I've always been interested in Biology anyway. And I hear it pays REALLLLY well! Good luck and congratulations on following your dreams. ;)
