Re:Is age just a number? sheydp: I have to admit, I am much more into older men - but it is really a maturity thing. If there was a mature younger guy - sure! That would not be a boy-toy thing for me - but a matching of ideas, a sense of excellent communication - of understanding - and that can occur at any age. As for the age just being a number - TOTALLY!!! A woman I know - 35 - is dating a 55 year old - she just knew he was the one. Now - if you are looking at younger women because they are "hotter"... that is SOOO the wrong reason to give someone a chance. And... Ah-hem. We "older" women, less thin and bouncy - we have other things to offer. ;)

Re:Is age just a number? Dino: 20 years to me is way too much of an age gap. Just my feelings.
Most of my friends are within 3 years of each others age. It's jsut that I only have one couple friend with the women being older than the guy. 3 years doesnt seem like much to me at all.
do women really find guys their own age that much less mature?

Re:Is age just a number? sacoderisa: well, I'm just 24 and have been told that I act like a 50 year old......my x is 21 but acts like she was 15.......where did all the notion of women mature faster come from?.......If such thing was true, i should be dating a girl who is actually 15......however, the way i see and do things, i should be dating my mom's friends
Re:Is age just a number? pluscachange: Age is just a number. I will treat all of the 19 year old girls I date as if they were the same age. No matter how 19 they are, they'll still garner my respect and admiration.

And I'm not just saying that. I think the age of a 19 year old girl doesn't matter a bit. She could be 19, or alternately, she could be 19, and I still wouldn't mind.

Re:Is age just a number? pluscachange: I have no idea why, but I'm in a fantastic mood today.

Thanks for the compliment, btw. :)
