Re:Is age just a number? bettyboop: I once was had this problem, The man I was interested in was 51 and I'm 34, as I found out we didn't have that much in common. We did have on thing and that was NASCAR but for the rest. He hated country music, I love it old and new. He didn't like the R&B, or rap, I will have to admit that some rap is ok but not all. Him and I are still friends you can never have to many friends. Age shoudn't matter but sometimes it does and it also depends on the people involved. :)
Re:Is age just a number? Chey: 2brix can I just say how thrilled I am that you're actually at a point in your head where you can think about this stuff ;D That's awesome!
Re:Is age just a number? turning leaf: Age is definitely just a number. And unless Desperate Housewives has not reached your neck of the woods, I'm here to reiterate what they proclaim that 40 is the new 30! I've been having animated conversations with my single girlfriends lately (we're all in the 31-38 range) and survey says we're willing to date men who are 6-8 years older than us! That's on the premise that men who are that older than us have solid experience that we can learn from. There was a 50 y/o man who was calling me some months back and everytime I think that he's older than my ex-father in law, i reach for that ''ígnore'' button on my celly.
Re:Is age just a number? JimB: Dude, let me know if you ever figure out a way to stop doing double takes at 19 year old hotties. I'll look, then look again, then walk away feeling like a dirty old man.
That said, if you meet someone who fulfills all your requirements, and she happens to come in a package with a little less mileage on it than you had envisioned, can't see how that could be a negative. ;D
Re:Is age just a number? AmyMarie1972: I think that age is just a number so long as it doesn't bother either person. If both of you are comfortable with it then that is all that matters.
Chey is right with the how great it is that you have got to this point.
