Re:saturday night... meh. jimloveless: oh, how could i miss that one? i still don't know if he was trying for an english accent in that flick or not. actually, i don't know if he was even trying to act, but that's just me. Aside from costner being costner, that movie was awesome. back when slater was a respected actor.

shawshank's redemption is a completely clean movie; the only scene of M-W infidelity was dealt with the judgement of a robber's gun. also just implied male rape...
i'm always fascinated by this movie, but now it carries a significance of that there're bigger things than heartshatter; wrongly jailed for life for the murder or a cheating wife, and fighting his own way out - his own way, one spoonful at a time.
