So strong the words no gravity escapes
Spoken rounds of song changed all that we knew
Too little thought to all this consecrates
This love in youth stands so far now from grace
Though once and always true is now but done
Each building their own pedestal in place
Of their love’s own unified foundation
But as the sun redeems the world from night
So might this love be raised up from the dead
And shown upon with awe inspiring light
Illuminate the path that we now tread
Each day that passes now expands the gap
Oh shine upon us sun and lead us back
