He has got to me again!!!!! AmyMarie1972: Well my giving up smoking went out the window this morning thanks to the ex again. He is just realy begining to pi$$ me off!!!!!
Our 3 year old has been really missing his dad the last week or so and of course it is me that has to wipe away his tears and tell him that Daddy will sort something out soon. Well Saturday he agreed to have our 10 year old daughter to stay the night, because she has also been having problems with him leaving (she ran away on Monday and was missing for 4 hours. Had the police out and everything. Worst thing I have ever gone through in my life.)
Anyway he was supposed to come around today to spend some time with pur 3 year old who cries every time he leaves. I told him that Daddy was coming round while the others were at school just to see him.
The jerk phones me up at the last minute to tell me that he cant do today he will have to make it tomorrow. No apology, not explanation. And he knows that the youngest is at nursery tomorrow.
So I am left to tell our son that Daddy is not coming.
I am totaly pi$$ed at him right now. How can he do that to a 3 year old I dont know, let alone his own 3 year old.
It took me everything I could not to do some serious shouting to him down the phone and it was only because I was taking my 6 year old to school and I was in the middle of the street that I didn't.
I had just best not see him today!!!!!

Re:He has got to me again!!!!! Lome: What a jerk? Really, he has no heart! I am so sorry for you. I would suggest voodoo dolls, but that could lead us into the temptation of using them far too often!
Try to stay positive...give them all the love you can....
Just let me know if I can help
Re:He has got to me again!!!!! tyrogers: Voodoo dolls do not work. However, rifles, shotguns and pistols do. JUST KIDDING PEOPLE!!!!!
Seriously girl, been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, burned it in the front yard while drinking a jack & coke and smoking a cigarette..................
It's a long road when it comes to the kids. The mom/dad that is not around sometimes does not realize how much it hurts the child. The best thing to do, I have found, is NOT to mention the visit until they show up. Make it a surprise. That way it is only YOU that gets irritated/p*ssed/hurt in the end.
<<<BIG HUG>>>
Love ya!

Re:He has got to me again!!!!! ti-poux: Hi Amy....
sorry for your son. The dad is a real idiot.
I would do like Ty says...do not tell them so it will be a suprise. Another you could do is when he calls to cancel, put the child on the phone, ask daddy to tell his own child he is not coming...so you don't have to look like the bad news carrier.

Re:He has got to me again!!!!! jillieb44: What is it with these dads??
My ex got under my skin big-time this weekend also, insinuating that our daughter was very upset at having to live with me (when actually she's very upset she can't be 'home' in her room, with her stuff, and that *I* am not moving home (would've been easier for stupid ex to leave), then asked me one of his cryptic questions (you know, the ones where you're supposed to know what he's asking but he won't just come out and ask) and I called him on it, then he made a few jabs at me like I'm stupid...
Yeah, I let him have it and wish he hadn't gotten under my skin.... >:(
