the next few days.... amola: yeah, i'm hiding for a few days.........lucky ol' me got selected for jury duty. ::) hoorah. ::) it's only supposed to last 2-3 days, but it's a somewhat high-profile case (for this area, anyway) and who knows how it's going to turn out.
they had about 50 people show up at the courthouse today at 8:45........waited until 9:30 to do anything.....then they randomly selected 28. i was number 27. ugh. then they started questioning us.....do we know this person, do we know that person, do we hate attorneys, blah blah blah. next thing we knew, they knocked out 16 more and left us 12. by that time it was 11:45, we broke for lunch, then came back and the trial started at 1pm. lasted until 5:30 tonight. have to be back at 9am tomorrow. yeehaw.
anyway, i figure that i'll just stay offline so that i'm not tempted to see what they're saying on the news about it......lol my curiosity sucks sometimes.
