First My Wife Turned Her Back & Now God rjack0612: It has been 3 months since my wife left, 4 months since I stumbled onto her affair. She still denies it of course. He is just a friend.
I am shattered. My son is shattered and my wife is out clubbing and spending her nights with her friend. I have cried, cursed my fate and fell on my knee's for hours of prayer. For what? Why does God let the bad people feel so good and I am left like this? What is the point of being a good, kind, caring and loving husband if it ends like this? What good does this do an innocent child?
How can the answer to every prayer be no?
Re:First My Wife Turned Her Back & Now God elisioleftalone: When a rose is growing, it must be the perfect season with the perfect weather. A rose cannot stand up to tough seasons like the cold of winter, the rains of monsoons, or the heat of August.
When an oak is grown, it takes a long time and must weather the tough seasons to grow tall and strong.
While the rose is sweet smelling and pretty, it does not last. The mighty oak, that is what lasts. God is growing a man. Trust that he knows how to grow you. If you look at Hosea, the old testament prophet, his wife became a temple prostitute that he bought back at an auction. He brought her home after that and loved her. I believe God can use this to grow you and your son to better men and still bring your wife home.

Not to get all crazy religious or anything, but here is something from the bible that has helped me over a period of time. Try reading JOB 23.... if you are not familiar at all with Job, I would be happy to give you a little of my interpation on this verse. Just shows that the Lord does no our path.
Also, if you have limewire or anything, check out a song by a group called Selah. The song is Called " Through it All" One line in particular hits me everytime in that song.

Just An Idea. The one thing I truely believe is God will test you, but never turn his back on you! It is hard but try not to turn you back on him.

People get what they deserve, we can't always see that, but God has the master plan. I was praying for my wife to come backt to me, but now that I know what I know all I can say is thank God for unanswered prayers!!

your wife has made horrible, hurtful decisions, but that is part of free will. god will not control her actions. he will even talk to her if you ask him to, but she's going to have to listen for it before it can do any good.
