Re:Just a question to all the parents... jjbswest: Wow! When i was on here back in Dec-Feb, nothing was off topic as long as it had to do with divorce. Everybody was so supportive and didn't care where you posted your question, vent, whatever. We are here to help and support one another with anything they need help with. Your posts are wanted. And no one should have to worry about the posts they put on here. If it is something that bothers you, post.

Since your son is only 3, I would let him call him whatever he feels comfortable calling him. As he gets older, he may change that on his own. But, I wouldn't confuse him anymore than necessary.
Re:Just a question to all the parents... Shanna: I use TV sometimes so I can cook, clean or get the kids to bed. It is frowned upon by some, but being a single mother I do what I have to do.

As for your son calling him Daddy....I let my kids decide what they call people. Their real dad asked me not to let them call anyone else dad so I jokingly tell my boy (3 tomorrow) "that's ____ not Daddy!" and he laughs.
Re:Just a question to all the parents... penguin: Sully: Happy b-day to your son!

My bf's idea of watching our daughter, is he plays on the computer all day, throws down some cheerios and sits her in front of the t.v. If she gets into something and makes a mess, it's somehow my fault, even if I'm not home. TV is NOT a substitute for babysitting!!!! If it's just for a while to cook/clean/whatever, that's fine in my book. I do the same thing. But not for hours on end, and especailly if he turns the TV to something innapropriate, with a lot of sex, violence...ect.
Something else that PISSED me off... He taught her to say "[color=Red"> Five Dollar Sucky Sucky[/color"> "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF! Why the hell would you teach a 2 1/2 year old to say that? Do you really want her to become a prostitute or what? I don't understand his thinking. He says, well, she's going to do it anyway eventually, and at least I'm teaching her to get money from it! THIS MAN NEEDS HELP! WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU EVEN THINK OF TEACHING A TODDLER TO SAY SUCH THINGS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Ok. Sorry. I had to vent for a moment.
