Re:Dating for sex Bubba: Actually Blazin. I dont think the point of dating is to get to the point of being comfortable enough to have sex. I think datingis essentially when two people need both physical and emotional connections. When you got married to your Ex, did you date her just to get laid? Not likely. Sure some guys are like that, just out to get laid, of course they end up alone ten years down the road.
Now for me dating was simply about seeing how I fit with the woman. Sex is just part of it. If I wanted a "sex buddy" I could get one easy enough, but I rather have sex with woman I care for then one I am just using for sex. If a person, not sure where you stand, is just dating to get sex, then in my opinon, that person is a very shallow person.

Is it ok to date more than one person at a time just in case, they may not be Mr. or Mrs. Right? I mean finding the right person out of 5 billion people is a daunting task, I'd think that it'd be important to try out as many people at once as you can.
Re:Dating for sex jillieb44: IMO (and this is just my opinion), dating multiple people is okay IF you are not sleeping with all of them as well. I wouldn't mind a man I dated (or was dating, where there was no sex yet) dating other women, but if there's sex involved, then I'd mind if he were dating other women.
But that's just me.

Re:Dating for sex hudson: perhaps there is a cynical tone to my posts but I've been told recently that I am breaking certain rules of dating. Since I don't know the rules and haven't really ever dated, I'm just trying to get a feel for what people think is appropriate.
