I'm sorry to be nasty about this,but she will do the whole thing again,it maybe in 6 weeks,6 months or 6 years....but eventually she will do it again.Your not the guy for her and she knows it,but you make her comfortable and feel safe so she keeps you around....but your not in her heart.She's afraid of being alone.
You deserve better than what she's done and what she is doing to you......i think you have to stop trying to fix her and decide if your happy being that fall-back guy she comes back too.....be ready for lots of heart break though because she's going to run out on you again.She will blame it in you again too....the problem is hers not yours.
Sorry if i'm being blunt with you.....but my situation was very similar and it did not have a happy ending.
