Question about Stalkers Shanna: I have been in this town for all of 9 months and I have one freako and one stalker. I figure I must be doing something to attract these people and not attract friends. I seriously have no friends. No one tries to be my friend (not including freako who tried to pick me up when my stbxh was WITH me).
I have another man following me....he goes to walmart whne I do and leaves when I do. He is at my doctor's office when I am there two seperate time. He has been at yard sales when I am there.
I smile at everyone and say Hi to people. Should I not be friendly??? This is a small town and people are friendly. Why is it when I do this weirdos not reg people try to stalk me?
please tell me what I am doing wrong....be harsh if need be.

There is such a thing as being too nice. I found myself in similar situations... not that extreme though. Usually guys that think I'm hitting on them because I smiled. ..... I think the best advice I can give you is to stop smiling so much... the weirdo's are drawn to people who smile... better to stiffen that upper lip a bit until you can figure out if they're crazy or not... good luck! :)

I recommend taking a martial arts class ... it's not about using these techniques to defend yourself against attempted crime. The idea is to change the way you carry yourself, and your level of confidence.
Plus, you might meet some okay people in the class.
