Re:The new girl.. and the I love you's So_Lost: I agree...why are you still in the same bed?? Same house even??
Re:The new girl.. and the I love you's mydarkdreams: Cause he basically said he won't leave, and he has nowhere to go. He generally goes to bed after I am long asleep. It's bizarre for sure. Though I sleep at one corner of the bed, generally, and he usually sleeps on the other - or our child is between us.
Then there is the part of me that sleeps better when he's there (it's hard to adjust from 5 years to nothing). I don't even know why he still is there.. it's hard for me to stand up to him, also, I am quite intimidated by him.
Re:The new girl.. and the I love you's jillieb44: Why can't you leave, then? My ex wouldn't leave, either, so I packed my stuff and my kids and left. The in-house separation (me sleeping in another room) just didn't work.
He intimidates you, won't leave, and has another girlfriend, sleeps in your bed? I don't know how you stand it.

Re:The new girl.. and the I love you's mydarkdreams: Don't really know what else to do - although he is rarely there.
I can't move, can't afford to and have nowhere else to go.
Re:The new girl.. and the I love you's Lumpy: Dear mydarkdreams,
GET OUT!! By any means necessary. If need be throw him out. It's only going to get worse. He says he doesn't want to subject you to this? Then don't A-HOLE!!! At least set some ground rules. No calls from the g/f when you're both at home. You can't start healing until you get some distance. This situation is going to leave you with some serious scars. It's bad enough to know he's with someone, it's cruel to have to watch it firsthand.
