Re:Bad timing for cheating husband's family to visit sourpuss: i've so far been able to maintain a relationship with the inlaws, but i don't see it going on much longer.
i love them, but it is awkward and painful to see them.
i may have to take a "break" and let the divorce dust settle and see what happens.
Re:Bad timing for cheating husband's family to visit ColoHill: Thank you for the advice. I am making sure to stay cautious. Even if the seperation happens and if I can't maintain a relationship in this, it is nice to know I had their support now. I also think that the "blood is thicker than water" can't apply here because the mom and grandparents are not blood relatives of his. So, they are family by love. Ironically, his sis got him a little plaque that says, " you are my brother, not by blood but by love"...Anyhow, it just feels good that someone other than me is getting to make him feel guilty for this. His grandma's exact words were that she was [glow=red,2,300"> "sticking the knife in a little deeper and then twisting it a bit". [/glow"> She is so funny!
