Re:Bad timing for cheating husband's family to visit ColoHill: Tomorrow my mother-in-law, father-in-law, and my H's grandparent's are going to be here. They are staying a week...I truely love his family to death (almost more than my own). This is just such an awkward time. :P I will let you all know how it goes. Wish me luck...
Re:Bad timing for cheating husband's family to visit ColoHill: Caught my father-in-law watching a porno! AAAGGGHHHH! :-X It was awful! Believe me, NOBODY ever wants that to happen!
Re:Bad timing for cheating husband's family to visit sourpuss: be glad he was only watching.
there are, uumm, "other" things men do while porn is on the telly...... :o :o :o
be thankful for small mercies.
Re:Bad timing for cheating husband's family to visit ColoHill: Well, they are gone now. It was actually pretty nice to see them all. I found out his grandparents know about his affair. They are furious. His grandmother only made sideways comments to him about me and how much she and the whole family loves me. His grandfather almost wouldn't talk to him. His grandfather sat down with me and my H's parents to tell them that if he divorces me over this, he is not welcome back at their house and that if he divorces me and tries to take our son (as he has threatened) that he wants nothing more to do with my H. He said my H wouldn't be a welcome part of the family to him and he'd want nothing more to do with him. I don't know how this is going to turn out but it is nice to feel like I have their support. I know he is their family and always will be. But, blood isn't all that makes a family and because of that, they all say they feel I am just as much a part of that family. Well see how it pans out in the end...
Re:Bad timing for cheating husband's family to visit amola: missing...
just be careful....i heard alot of the same things from my ex's family before we split (although there was no cheating involved) but trust me, once we did split, i was immediately ostracized.
not saying that it will happen, but please be careful with what you say to them......blood is thicker than water, and you never know what is going to happen in the future. if he is anything like my ex, he can twist things around to make you look like the bad guy, and then the next thing that you know, everything that you have said in confidence to your inlaws is out there for everyone to hear.....
just be careful until you know for sure....but always keep in mind that he is their son.....
hang in there!
