Re:A question about a product... Thinkin: Not interested,
I know why the cops pay me extra attention and if you need to do a background check on yourself or your name you can get them online for about the same price.
Just interested why you would need to run a check though? I don't think the cops would confuse you. I've been pulled over and hassled allot and I don't think the name had anything to do with it. Of course my name, my drivers license number, and registration is what will get you in trouble. Not just the name, but that's just my input and I'm no cop but I've bumped into a few in my time. ;)

I can only speak of my own experience.
I have a VERY common name.
Everytime they do a quick check on my name they find a bunch of people with MY name that have some VERY colourful records.
I usually tell them up front, "I am not the guy in Kentucky with my name".
Why?
'Coz some schmoe with MY exact name did time for something dumb in Kentucky. He probably won the Darwin Award for criminals.
Only then do they check SSN and see they are different.

Point taken, I guess if you did have a john smith name it could lead to a few issues. I haven't run into that but it is interesting to know they could detain you for any length of time because of that. I guess I would have to agree that it couldn't hurt.
Keep up the great work,
