i hope i never have to have one of those again. apparently you don't have to drink for those, since they let me pee before they did that one to me. i would much rather choke down the water than do that again.

trust me, you don't. i may have been stoned out of my gourd by that point, but omg did i fight that one. it was so horribly uncomfortable, and then the stupid little ultrasound demon was trying to convince me that i shouldn't move....."oh, honey, i know that you're uncomfortable, but you have to stay still"..........yeah, right, lady! you lay here and let me do this to you, and we'll see how calm you are!

You know - that never worked for me either - both of my first US's were "innies" - OUCH! Very embarrassing too...
However, I never had to drink a truckload of fluids before an US - that's crazy! No wonder they're pushing the probe through your tummy - YOUR BLOATED! How crazy! I can't believe they're doing that to you!

my worst ultrasound experience was when i apparently drank too much water and the demon lady told me to go "pee just a little bit".......i'm sorry, but how in the f*ck do you pee just a little bit? she handed me a dixie cup and said, here, fill this and dump it 5 times, then come back. omg. omg. talk about willpower at that point.....make me drink 64 oz of water, let it sit in my innards for an hour, then tell me to just pee a little bit?!?!?!!?!?!? so there i was holding the cup, sitting on the toilet.......making myself pee......stop......dump.....pee.....stop......dump......
it was awful.
i don't know what they're going to do to me tomorrow.....hopefully if they want to do an ultrasound, they'll just do the outtie and not the innie....i don't think that i can handle another one of those.....
