sister moving.....sad..... LostTeacher: I know that it's for the best, and that there are some new opportunities out there for them but.....
my sister is moving away today. she is moving 3 provinces over, 12 hour drive, and i probably won't see her now until the fall.
i am really a lot more sad than i thought i would be about this. it's strange.....i never thought i would feel so down about it. maybe it's the divorce, or my new feelings for my family. i know it's the best thing for her and her boyfriend to go....but i am quite sad to see them go.
my sister and i have always been very close. we are not even a year apart in age, so we have done almost everything together since we were little. even now, we play basketball on the same team for a senior women's league, and we hang out........*sigh*
so....sorry if i haven't been posting much lately, just been dealing with this, and a sick grandma, and being alone.....just a little bit of a sorry state. thanks for listening. :'(

really.....get her an email address (like hotmail) or good cell coverage....keep in touch and you will still be close.
I hope you have a better day. Just try to see her before school starts again....those first weeks leave me without time to think

It was so clear reading your post how much you love your sister and want the very best for her - even knowing how much you'll miss her. That'll make it a little easier, I think...
The great thing about our love for our families is that it is big enough to cover wide distances...and can also inspire road trips and insane telephone bills as well.

i do know that this is a great move for her. it's not just her BF that has some opportunities, she has some available to her too.
it's just hard to see her go. she's my baby sister, she's the baby of the family, and she's trecking a long way away to be with her man. maybe i'm really just a little worried about that...although i do love him very much too.
nice to have some support.....any words are worthwhile! love you guys!!
