Re:Need tight jeans jen: Over the holidays, I went shopping with my sister and she forced me to try on stacks and stacks of jeans. It is singlehandledly one of the most painful tasks to find a good pair of jeans that fit WELL.
I actually have the opposite problem - and found a lot of jeans that would probably work well for you :)
These are a few brands that I found came in a variety of cuts/styles that are flattering:
Lucky
Citizen's for Humanity
Gap
Levi's
Good luck and happy shopping :D
Re:Need tight jeans jen: Levi has a cool thing that I haven't tried, but it sounds pretty neat - where you go in and they take a scan of your body and determine which pair of jeans and what size etc. would work best for you...
I know it sounds like the lazy way out, but it might be kind of nice. I think Levi also does custom fit jeans based on that as well. In any case, it may be worth looking into :)

Re:Need tight jeans amola: i despise shopping for jeans or any other items of clothing! not to mention that i hate spending money on clothing! lol i'm one of those people that goes to walmart, finds the cheapest pair of jeans that there is, and that's what i buy. most of the jeans that i have are faded glory(?) from walmart and they fit me just fine.
however, if things go ok from this point on, i'll be doing more shopping at motherhood maternity than at walmart, since their selection of maternity clothes sucks moose poo. the maternity jeans that i have are shot--they've been through way too many pregnancies (in addition to my 3) and are in no condition to be worn in public anymore......
Re:Need tight jeans jillieb44: My problem is that since the separation I've lost so much weight that I can't seem to find clothes my size any more. Pants I bought just a month ago are bagging off me. I *hate* being built like an ironing board....argh!!
And to find my size I have to shop in the junior's section, but I don't want to look like a teenager (no offense, but I'm in my 40s and nothing is stupider (love that word, LOL) than a 40+ yr old woman trying to look 16....
ARGH!
Jillie
