Re:psychologists in_search_of: It might be a medical expense, but you hvae to have a crap ton of medical expenses before you can write them off for the most part.
Re:psychologists JimB: I'm in an HMO - got a referral from my primary care doctor so everything is taken care of except the copay.
Re:psychologists raistlynne: I think paying only the copay is the best you can hope for unless you spend a certain amount on medical expenses throughout the year. I have heard it's around 2,000 dollars, but I'm not 100% sure. Did you look on www.irs.gov for the info??
