She wants to try and make you as uncomfortable as she can.
My advice, just keep on doing what you are doing. Be polite to her and ignore her. I know you don't want her talking to the kids about you but really, can you STOP her? She's going to regardless of how you feel about it. Stick with the high ground ss, that's what you are best at I think. Let her wallow in the mud.

I mean..I didn't yell at her, didn't swear at her - I think I made a reasonable request. Why do I feel like crap and the bad guy? I can't shake it! :( >:(

Um...probably because you ARE a courteous person ss. I know you have to deal with this woman quite often but really, don't waste your time/energy on her...she isn't worth it dear.
