Pitty Party
.

Pitty Party mydarkdreams: My little guy has been having a horrific time the last month or so.. he's being SO mean at school (daycare, he's 4).. he is ORNERY... OMG.. he said today "I like to be mean" and says it's OK to be mean, even though he KNOWS it's not. He's spitting, hitting, kicking, he scratches and is scratching himself on purpose when he's angry.. I'm at a loss.. I don't know what happened to my sweet boy.. Feeling like I've done something terrible but can't figure out what it is. He's been sent home 3 times in the last 2 weeks or so.. all for being agressive, mean, etc. One day he was throwing chairs, ripping things off the walls, etc.

I am also resentful that T has found it SO easy to move on.. he's got none of the responsibility etc ... new girlfriend also with no responsibility.. while I feel like I am stuck in limbo..

I'm feeling VERY doubtful that anyone will ever want to be involved with me on any serious basis ever... I have three kids, one of them is a teenager with teenage issues, the next has his issues as well with his ADHD and Aspergers and will be a teenager himself in a little over a year although he has become my easiest to deal with most of the time, and then my little one is having horrific displays of anger issues.. I'm not really sure where I so completely went wrong but it's painfully obvious that it was somewhere. I dunno, I am just NOT in a place of understanding today. I guess it's probably good that I have counseling today.
Re:Pitty Party celticgypsy: Been there, done that....and at the time, my second husband was around. Little guy wasn't even dealing with issues.
It's so frustrating...feeling so helpless...wanting your little baby back. And seeing such agressiveness in your little one.

If you can, try Karate. I enrolled mine in December...He went from daily notes, knocking another kids tooth out, punching a counselor at his daycare (he's FIVE, six now), going to the principals office on a regular basis...to a completely different child. If you find a good place, the instructor will work with you with home life, school, daycare, everything. His grades shot up, his polite and respectful. and he loves it. If you can...that is. I know how tough it is to find the $ to do it.....but it's worth every penny i've had to scrape together.

blessed be
gypsy
