I know you are right. I guess it's just before my ex did all this stuff to me and put me through all this pain, the only thing wrong with our relationship was that she didn't trust me enough and was paranoid, and she didn't communicate herself that well to me, could have been lying about a bunch of other stuff too that I never knew about...ok I guess there were issues...???
Anyway, I know you just have to clean up the mess and move forward. Plenty of good BBQ to grill right :P
Re:How do you get them off their pedastal hudson: I think there was nothing wrong with placeing my exw upon a pedestal. Problem is, the pedestal doesn't belong to her anymore. She can go find some other shmuck to put her on his pedestal. And soon enough another wonderful girl will enjoy a nice vacant pedestal that I have waiting for her.

Re:How do you get them off their pedastal hudson: Well, at this point in my post-divorce life, any lady i might be seeing may have to fight for a little bit of space atop a pedestal already occupied by my exw. However, my hope is that the ex will be off of it soon. Don't ask me how, cause I dunno. Like I said in jimloveless's post, maybe she'll just have to be replaced forcefully rather than voluntarily.
I don't think that it matter's that my ex is on a pedestal. I think more important is that, when I do develop a serious relationship again, there is not the distraction of my ex's memory.
Although, the next woman who sweeps me off my feet I'm sure will do a fine job of removing my ex from anywhere she doesn't belong.

It just pisses me off that I have her on this pedastal when she is off with this new guy and has probably forgotten about me. She doesn't deserve the pedastal. The only place for someone who acts so selfishly, and is so deceiving to sit is in a cell. Where's my pedastal anyway? Don't I deserve one?
