New Turn of Events jimloveless: At this point, I'm writing this more for the purpose of trying to figure it out in my own mind. to anyone who's reading, thank you; all insite is appreciated.
So, my wife left me March 27, stayed in a hotel for 2 nights in Boise (fifty miles east) then drove about 450 miles west to Eugene oregon. She got a job there and has been living with a high school friend and the friend's SO since then. She's made frequent visits to this area unbeknownst to me. I found out about her affair on May 8, filed for divorce after giving her a week to come clean. The divorce should be finalized in late July.
Okay. now that that is out of the way, I have a friend, M, who's visiting his father in Eugene right now. M stopped by the bar that my wife and her live-in friend, P, work at. P asked M if he'd want to go have a cup of coffee after she got off work. M called to make sure I was cool with it and I said it was irrelevant to me. I trust him not to betray me. M doesn't really have anything to betray me with, honestly.
M asked P if my wife was there and P told him that she was in Boise. If she is, that most likely means that she's been in Boise for over a week now. That may also mean that she's permenantly living in Boise. It seems that P and her SO (who happens to be a good friend of mine), split up. I have no idea why. I hope that M will get that information because I care about that friend and I sort of wonder if my wife's situation has something to do with their break up. most likely not; but still...
The one question this brings up.. the toughest question, anyway: is she living in boise? that is where i'll be attending classes this fall. As painful as it was to be 400 miles away from her for the last 3 months, it was really good for me to not see her and vice versa. I probably would have moved to eugene had she not done so. I don't want to be bumping into her. A clean break is always best, IMO. This is sort of freaking me out, and I'm letting it.
but it pisses me off. I want to tell her to get the hell out of my state and go back where she came from. get out of the city I chose and go back to the one you chose. why is this so irritating to me?

still think of the signs...remember, you can not control her only how you respond to her.

run, bike,or watch some more anime...just stay busy.
Don't let your ire lead to more cigs...just try to get thru today....
when school starts, you will not have the time or the energy to waste on her....so hold out....

i don't think you could handle the white stripes in my pickup. i've got a fozgate punch and some kickin kenwood 8"s that scream guitar out like a pair of banshees. just cuz i dig beethoven and diana krall doesn't mean i don't enjoy a little metallica, crue, or GnR. *horns go up* YEEEAH. i'm at the ass end of gen x. i remember the eighties.
