I've gotta agree with Jernigan for the most part. You said yourself that your relationship is longer sexual. Have you considered re-assessing the friendship? I applaud the fact that you're trying to keep things civil for the childrens' sake but you need to consider your own mental health here. It's very hard to move on when you still ACT like a couple. Have you yourself dated at all since the break-up? Maybe part of your unwillingness to do so is tied into your friendship with your ex...

She has never had a problem with having people around to support her including this guy. I myself am stupid to because I have access to her voicemail and i have seen her and him send lots of texts at late hours. I am tired of thinking about this some days are good others are AWFUL!! I could just scream, the voicemails are not too revealing but when i ask her stuff i know she always has a different story..:-(

I know how hard it is, especially when you have access to some of her communications without her knowledge, but you need to stop it! You're only causing yourself more pain. If you think about it you can't even really fault her for lying about it. Either she wants to share that info with you or she doesn't. It seems apparent to me that she doesn't. It's really none of your business anymore unless she makes it your business...
