Don't wait on ANY MAN. That is a waste of your previous and valuable time. Be around, sure. But don't turn down a date with someone else if the opportunity arises! ;)

Go on an actual date with R. Out to dinner, maybe a movie. DO NOT LET IT PROGRESS PAST THAT. Let him actually make an effort to date you. Hold off on sex. See where it goes. Tell him no if he wants to have sex. If he keeps coming around, then he may be serious. If he gets irritated b/c you say no, well then, you know what he was looking for!!!

just basically started again

I know that sounds obsessive, but I can't help it.
I think that R and I could have a great relationship, and I'd like for things to go better than before.
I just don't want to go into this with the wrong expectations.....
