Weight question JC: **
Re:Weight question DaisyGarden: I think around here it's referred to as the 'divorce diet'. :-\ I lost weight as well, but it was just the right amount. I lost all the extra weight I had gained after having my daughter. ;)
I know that i lost my appetite and wasn't eating, and so losing weight wasn't a shock. But, by not eating, I set myself up for being sick a lot of the time. I even got shingles, and the Dr. told me I had no immune system! My Dr. told me to take Vitamin C, and Echinaesa pills to build my immune system back up.
Re:Weight question EZ: o yes how well i learned of the divorce diet i lost 32 in about 2 months and i did not have 32lbs to spare in the first place. one of my friends took 1 look at me and said all you have left to lose is a major organ. i had to lol at myself on that 1 but he was right. i still have not regained the weight back yet but i am eating again and i do feel better physically if not mentally
Re:Weight question JDorn: Well since i started having problems with my wife i took up exercising to pass my time and I've went from 230 down to 195 and am still dropping. I got to admit that out of all the pain and suffering that takes place when you are thinking about splitting up, i've gained at least 1 good thing in my life.
Its nice to have coworkers and friends tell me I look great, not to mention its nice to be hit on when I go out with a group of people. Definately a confidence booster.
Re:Weight question ostia: Here's an amateur evolutionary biology theory: I sometimes wonder if maybe this phenominon is some kind of adaptive evolutionary strategy...if you lose your mate, you have to go out and get a new one, and being thin and fit makes you more attractive...so maybe we're somehow programmed to lose weight when a relationship breaks up...LOL! (I'm kidding...mostly!)
