Get it in writing fast.
If he changes his mind it will get messy, even faster.
He probably feels guilty for leaving and is saying this to feel a little better.

Anyway.. here come my 2 cents.. Sounds as if this guy wants out and wants out fast.. for reasons.. I do not know.. He is going to continue spitting out ugly words at you..and make you feel worthless.. This one sounds like one of those that is beyond help.. YOur H sounds like a jerk.. Sorry.. But he seemed happy when you put your house up for sale? He's trying to get out quick and leave you in the dust. Keep going on the path you are going.. take care of those babies and yourself.. Make sure , like michael said, you get everything in writing, especially concerning custody/visitation of the kids. Im so sorry this is happening to you.. As I said earlier.. Keep us posted.. and come vent anytime.. We've all been there in one way or another... :-\
