Re: Hey - look around - You're still here Suddenly Single: TWG - through the funk I had been in the last couple days your thoughts here are ummm...... don't know the word for it but maybe..sobering... appropriate?  I don't know really - I'm not very good with words.  But after reading what you wrote it just sort of grounded me as to where I've been, what I've survived through and what is ahead of me.  Put more in perspective what I'm going through this year as compared to last year.

Don't know what I'm really trying to say here.....

Thanks!  SS
Re: Hey - look around - You're still here Cowboy12: TWG, man you seem to sum up in writing what we all feel..

last weekend I had one of those feelings, like surviving the Titanic hitting the iceberg, and being rescued by the Luisitania... :-\

I read a good article about gratitude last night..

Accepting reality, of where we are..and whats happened is a hard concept to grasp, but it is a concept we must accept, in order to move on with our lives.

Re: Hey - look around - You're still here HopelessGeek: There is of course only then the difference between having accepted reality as it is and grounding yourself to move on and rather than being able to move on still being lost.

Whilst what you say is true TWG. And something that everyone has to do, it doesn't in all cases actually mean an end.

Difference between living and existing I guess.
Re: Hey - look around - You're still here Shanna: 7:56 am awake.  :D

At 8am I get to wake up my best friend, Mikki, who is in visiting from Japan.  She still has one more year left there teaching English and I have missed her so much.

Frideon is a great guy and I am so lucky to have him in my life.  Long distance is hard, but we are doing great.

My Children are doing good.  Alec is off his breathing treatments for the most part and Kyle is doing well with his speech.  Still not really talking, but communicating some now with pointing and whatnot.

Life is going good.....as long as you don't count the finacial part  ::)
Re: Hey - look around - You're still here freovir: I woke up at 7:00 EST to a 7.5 year old butt in my face and a 6 year old leg choking me.  Once again the two of them had crawled into bed with me and we were using about 8% of the available space.  The joys of fatherhood.

God, Thank you for allowing her to leave.
