Re: no friends starzluv: i completely understand the no friends. i we moved about a year and a half ago, and i haven't met anyone here yet i can call a friend. my best friend in the whole world is in florida (i'm in Pa.) and the only other person i'm close to is in Arizona. my dad and one of my sisters is in Arizona as well another sister in texas, my youngest sister is in Quaite (sorry can barely say it at times definately cant spell it) and my mom is in of all places Greenland. so i feel completely alone. all i had he is him and the kids. i'm just glad my sister told me about ojar or i would be more of a mess then i am.
Re: no friends mozart101: If you have a hobby or sport you enjoy you could check out craigslist.com - they have most every major city and lots of information and adds for people looking for people to hang out with. I used it to find a tennis partner and it has worked well for me at least. Hopefully you could have the same luck! Other than that check your local rag for any groups you might want to attend - they are usually listed in the Living or Entertainment section and show where and when they meet as well as contact info. Short of that - go meet your neighbors or just chat with us online - friends are everywhere - just takes a little looking is all!
