Michael, A phone list? freovir: Michael, et al.,
I just thought of something. Would it be possible or feasable to make a list of phone numbers for people in emergency need. Newbies often arrive quite distraught and hearing a empathetic voice might be very beneficial.
I understand the whole privacy issue, but it is not something i am concerned about - i pick up hitchhikers. Ojar has truely been a godsend and I know I would like to help out more if I can.

I know people don't want their numbers given out willy nilly, but it's a great help if someone wants to talk to a real person...
I would give my number only, it's an international call for most people here, so I am not much good....
Maybe on premium OJAR we could have a helpline number. ..... 911
Re: Michael, A phone list? tyrogers: Most people who "know" people on here have already exchanged digits. I can't tell you who all has mine. I just know I have given it out a few times. I think that is something that the two people should decide after talking/giving advice to each other for a bit.

Re: Michael, A phone list? Blueyes424: I would be all for it, but the whole Confused Pete issue has kind of strayed me away from giving anyone my number unless I know and chat with them on a pretty frequent basis.
I just don't think it would be a wise idea....at least for me!

I had several conversations with Pete before he went "there" YUCK!
But, I also have regular conversations with James.....and he has kept me sane during all of this mess....so much so that he simply is family now...
This strange young man who life has dumped on was on the phone with me at 3 am when my husband was not home yet (car broke down and he was about 8 hours late...I was in panic...and James was just a strong, kind male...ya know...just felt like a big warm hug type of guy :-* :-* :-*)
