the ow & her hubby got tattoos of each others names when they married (2nd marriage for her, "this time it's FOREVER....").
now that she's run off with my man, they are both having to save up for the removal......

i don't get the whole putting the name of the other person on your body thing.
i know someone that got the signature of his SO on his chest. it looks pretty cool....but how do you explain that if you seperate? maybe not so cool. :P

Re: How many of you got a tattoo after divorce?? starzluv: i got my first before marriage, and the second one after, to cover the first. the first was really bad done by a friend with a home made tattoo gun. my next one is going to be around my ankle and it's going to be all 3 of my kids names. oh and as for getting a BF/GF or H/Ws name tattoed well there is a superstition about that. it's an automatic break up. never had any plans to ever get anyones name tattoed on me anyways... except my kids cuz my kids will always be my kids.
