No that is not stupid! I think that sounds like an AWESOME idea for a tattoo. I want a butterfly too, for a similar reason.....to show that I have changed and have become a more beautiful person.

It's a Chinese symbol for Dragon. I also want a tat on my butt that says KISS THIS! I think that's be funny. Although, when I'm 80 years old and in a nursing home... that probably wouln't be as funny anymore... if you could evey read it through the wrinkles and dimples...
Re: How many of you got a tattoo after divorce?? toughgirl1029: I got a small tatoo prior to my 2nd marriage and he was pi$$ed!!! I got mine before he got his....after him, I got my ear cartilage pierced. I had it done prior, but he flipped out when I came home with it and threatened me to not get it done again!!!
I'm still trying to figure out tattoo #2...there will be another one...just dont know what or when!

i have the spot picked, the idea in my head...now i just need someone to design it, and to choose the colours!
