New here though it has always been inevitable

New here though it has always been inevitable JillR: So here it is - my story in a nutshell.  Married my husband 7 yrs ago - knew walking down the aisle it would not work.
We had a child a year & a half later, then another 2 yrs later.  All through this we knew we didn't want to be together but stayed for the kids.
He has mentally destroyed me - I feel like I have NO self-esteem anymore - and I was a very strong person before.
It KILLS me to do this to my children but it is for the best.
I am just in the beginning of this process and I hope for support during it all.
I am very happy I found this site - it's nice to know I am not alone.

That seems like a very strange thing to be thinking  ???  I am just wondering how was it going to work if that is the attitude that you all entered into a marriage with?

I'm glad you found this site and I hope I can offer support to you. Take care.
