My stbxh had that lasik surgery on his eyes and didn't have to wear glasses anymore. IT really boosted his confidence and more girls hit on him. So I think it is "kind of " the same.

My mother always swore it had to do with the WL and the sudden attention from other women he might have been receiving that caused him to destroy his family the way he has.
Regardless of his weight loss, he didn't lose his personality which has turned into the most unattractive of all. (Plus, since splitting up, he has gained it all back and then some ;D ;D ;D)
