Re: You Can't Win wowee: Ok, first I will sympathize with you before I totally go off topic...
I hope the bleeding is better by now & I really hope the Sox catch up.
Now about the bat!? EEEK!!! Here is where I will go astray, but trust me I am trying to say I've been there... I went on a business trip a few years ago to New York. Now, keep in mind I have lived a fairly (OK VERY ) sheltered life. It was my first trip to New York & I was scared to death as it was. My fist night there, apparently the window had been left open in my hotel by the last person there & I never noticed. I was like 14 floors up, so no one could have come in, but in the morning I had just taken a shower & was completely naked when I all of a sudden realized there was something in my room under my bed. I freaked & grabbed the phone & called my collegue who was there too. He ran to my room to rescue me ( while I managed to wrap a towel around myself just before he got there) and he flushed out the a tiny little bird from under my bed - I still swear it was a bat. And it started flying all around my room before he finally got it to fly out my window. So my point is, a bat or a bird, having "winged" things flying around is quite distressing. I was a freak. So I am sorry you had to endure that & then the bloody finger to boot. My point - be thankful you weren't naked in a strange city. ha ha ha - so off the point -sorry but I hope it at least gave you something to take your mind off it all!!
Re: You Can't Win AfterMath: Thanks wowee. Bleeding has stopped. Oh SHIT Manny Ramirez just ripped one out!! 6 -5 Sox!
Birds vs. bats? Likely it wasa bat since it was a time incedent. 've been dealing with these critters all my life. Birds & Bats act similar when in human premises; that is to say they act "wacko!"
Re: You Can't Win AfterMath: Go Sox!! ;D
Re: You Can't Win AmyMarie1972: So did the Sox win
Hope that the finger is feeling better.
